Saskia ter Welle and Shingo Sato pattern techniques

A little more than a week ago the surprise e-mail landed in my mailbox from Saskia ter WelleSaskia designs Women’s Wear and Advises on Personal Colour and Style. She teaches French Haute Couture Embroidery techniques and organises inspiring events on Personal Branding.

So far we knew each other only through the social media – never met face to face. Thus seeing this e-mail I did not think too long to say yes.

What was all about?

Are you a dressmaker and you like to see how the techniques of Shingo Sato be worked out in practice?
Then this is your chance!
For an online master Shingo Sato particular pattern techniques I seek help in the realization of the final assignments. The deadline for submitting is June 30.

Yes, she is following the Shingo Sato online masterclass and needed help.

Great opportunity not only to meet Saskia but experience this amazing pattern technique as well.

When we have met for the first time she said she was surprised with the amount of reactions to her call. She has a lot of helping hands and confidence she will finish all pieces on time.

It is a great pattern manipulation technique – not all designs are my favourite but these ones below are great. I think I will try to use them in the future garments.

It is really great meeting other dressmakers when helping Saskia. This time Annemiek Obbink and Jolanda Lootens-Berg were helping as well. We had great time!
